Husbands phone is loaded with our own playlist that is stored in iTunes. When he wanted to play his music it kept repeating that same song. If you manually clicked a song it would play that but repeatedly. It would not advance or shuffle.
Called Apple care….
Needed to hook up to iTunes, Turn off the music playlist and sync, removing all his music from his phone. The clicked back on “sync music” and re-synced.
It seems that their are new icons! In Music > My Music, go to the song that is playing - shows in a small bar at the bottom of the screen with a red arrow to the left. If you slide up on that bar you will see a menu. The two new icons are on the bottom. Left is Shuffle. Right is Repeat.
This window was not accessible until I unsynced then synced is music, in Tunes.
